[Oh -- Gabi doesn't have a ton of experience with reading tone through text, but even she can tell that the feeling of that kind of. Changed partway through, didn't it.

She just looks at her phone for a couple moments. She takes in a breath. Part of her just wants to happily say "I'm not going anywhere, promise!"

But...when she starts typing, her fingers say something else.]

[Friends? Like with people living in Nightwake? Or people from other worlds? Gabi immediately sits up with her phone. It distracts her enough that she doesn't immediately start thinking about that "No".]

First there's Iggy. She's great! She loves music. She knows all kinds of stuff about it. She's from a world with really advanced technology, so she's helped teach me how stuff works. She's not like anyone I've ever seen before, either. Her people, Omnics, they have a lot in common with Eldians. People hating us for past stuff, you know

76 just goes by a number. He's great. I'm pretty sure he was in his world's military. Maybe that's why he looked familiar at first. He's older and really great. I like hanging out with him. He's great

Hakkai is great, too. He has the scariest smile, though. Did you know smiles can be scary? His can be really scary. He's pretty new here. Newer than me, I mean. We met when we found these horrible cakes. They looked like severed limbs! Who does that?!

Ozymandias is a friend, too. He's kind of arrogant, but I like him. He's really generous

Evangeline hit on my Titan when we met. It was so weird that I didn't even realize what was happening for a minute. She backed off when I said I like guys, though. She's really cool. Her world SUCKS. It's refreshing talking to her. She doesn't freak out about all the bad stuff. She's friends with Jean, so I can't tell her much about home. It wouldn't be fair
